3 Delicious Festive Protein Mocktail Recipes

While sipping on a festive boozy drink is a great way to enjoy the holidays with your family, friends, or colleagues, there are also plenty of alcohol-free options to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s with: from zero-proof spirits to a whole lineup of mocktails.

In this post, we’d like to introduce you to three delicious mocktail recipes that aren’t just alcohol-free, they’re also low in sugar and high in protein. Mix them for a cozy night in or, if you’re feeling generous, whip up a big batch for your next party!

Strawberry Mojito, Tall Slim Jim

Ingredients

  • 6-7 strawberries, stems removed
  • 8 large mint leaves, – if they are on the small size add12 mint leaves
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 scoop of Clear Whey Protein – strawberry mojito flavour

Garnish

Directions

  • Make up the diet whey as per the packet instructions
  • Add strawberries and mint leaves to a glass. Using a muddle (or a wooden spoon), muddle the strawberries and mint leaves. You’re basically crushing then strawberries and mint leaves to extract the juices. Be careful as you don’t want to tear the mint leaves to pieces. add some ice to the glass. Then add the whey protein.
  • Add the lime juice and Lemonade to the glass. Stir. 
  • Garnish with extra mint and lime slices. Serve immediately.

Watermelon Mules

Ingredients

  • 1 handful cubed watermelon
  • 1 cup ginger beer
  • 1 lime juiced
  • Ice, for blending
  • Mint leaves, for garnish
  • Lime slices, for garnish
  • 1 scoop Clear Whey Protein – watermelon breeze flavour

Directions

  • Add ice into a glass. Then add your watermelon and lime juice.
  • Make up the diet whey as per the packet instructions, then add to the glass.
  • Add some mint leaves and ginger beer.
  • Garnish with a slice of lime

Tropical Fruit Punch, Passionfruit Sparkler

Ingredients

  • 1 passionfruit
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 cup coconut water 
  • Soda water or Lemonade
  • 1 scoop of Clear Whey Protein – tropical fruit punch flavour

Directions

  • Scoop passion fruit pulp into a glass over ice.
  • Add lime juice and soda water/Lemonade.
  • Make up the diet whey as per the packet instructions.
  • Add the clear diet whey, add the coconut water.
  • Garnish with more passion fruit and lime and serve.
