Be thankful for the life you already have. Stop worrying about what other people think about you. Surround yourself with people who actually care about you. Stop hating your body, he loves you more than anyone or anything in this world and keeps you alive. Instead of looking at your phone you should make some art, kiss, cuddle, hug, read, see a friend, spend quality time with your family, wake up for the sunrise, write your feelings and dreams, swim in the ocean, take photos, tell someone you love them, do something that makes your heart sparkle, try new things.

Focus on what makes you happy, what makes your soul feel at peace. Stop wasting time thinking about what you could have or should have done. Stop spending your Mondays wishing it was Friday. Stop waiting for working towards your dreams until the next month, or next year. Make the most out of every single day.

You’re not behind in life. There’s no schedule or timetable that we all must follow. Wherever you are right now is exactly where you need to be. We are all different with a variety of needs and goals. Don’t beat yourself up for where you are right now. It’s your timeline, not anyone else’s, and nothing is off schedule.

You are your biggest commitment, so start loving your flaws, awkwardness, weirdness, intensity, vulnerability, and everything. Life becomes so much more fulfilling when you are just simply yourself.

You are not your mistakes. You are not your past. You are not your wounds. You can decide differently today and at every moment. Remember that. You are offered a new opportunity with each breath to think, choose, decide, and act differently in a way that supports you in being all that you are capable of being.

Try, every day, to think of one good thing about yourself and your life, and hold onto it. It may be something you have done, something you own, someone you love,…it may be anything, really. It’s the little things. They have a huge impact on our days. Wake up every morning and smile at the beautiful day that awaits you. Let yourself be happy because you deserve it!
